iFLY Montreal launches a new virtual reality experience

Do you know iFLY Montreal (formerly Skyventure)? This is an experience that replicates the sensation of free-fall jumping, but in the comfort and safety of an indoor enclosure. iFLY Montreal is launching a new experience today that combines their usual wind tunnel technology with a virtual reality headset.

This new experience, called iFLY 360 VR, open to all ages from 6 years old, how much the wind tunnel technology that allows you to reproduce a free fall indoors, to that of virtual reality with a helmet.

iFLY 360 VR reproduces in an ultra-realistic way a wingsuit jump over incredible landscapes, from all over the world, above sea cliffs or mountain peaks, among others. The simulation, offering different levels of adrenaline, is created using video images captured by drone. As the shots and destinations are unlimited, the experience, which currently offers seven routes, is set to evolve continuously.

Virtual reality brings a very surprising dimension of proximity and speed to indoor free fall. Even for an experienced skydiver, it’s a little destabilizing, so we can’t wait to share this with our customers so that they have fun and experience new sensations!
