LG Electronics Inc. today announced the upcoming launch of the world’s largest organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TV, the 97-inch OLED evo Gallery Edition.
With the launch of the novelty, LG’s line of OLED TVs will include 97, 88, 83, 77, 65, 55, 48 and 42-inch versions. “The 97-inch OLED TV is a testament to LG Electronics’ unrivaled technologies,” a company official said.
LG’s new television is equipped with the largest OLED screen manufactured with current display technologies allowing to obtain a 4K definition (3,840 x 2,160 pixels). It also features a fifth-generation Alpha 9 intelligent processor based on data related to OLED image and sound quality.
The 97-inch OLED evo Gallery Edition also offers various functions such as NFC connectivity allowing a smartphone to be connected to the TV by touching the phone to the smart remote control and direct voice recognition not only on the remote control but also on the TV, as well as multi-screen mode.
