Reilly Smith will not venture into the unrestricted free agent market on July 13.

According to site informant Daily Faceoff Forward Frank Seravalli has a verbal agreement with the Vegas Golden Knights for a three-year contract extension that would earn him $5 million a year.

In his fifth season with the Knights, the 31-year-old veteran has amassed 16 goals and 22 assists in 56 games.

Smith spent the last year of his five-year, $25 million contract signed in 2016 with the Florida Panthers in 2021-2022.
