Stimulating learning through discovery, exploration, participation and experimentation, BAnQ participates in building a learning society, leading to the cultural, social and economic development and fulfillment of Quebecers.

The DC is responsible for promoting the richness, diversity, usefulness and accessibility of BAnQ and its three pillars throughout Quebec. It protects the institution’s image and reputation and ensures the consistency of BAnQ’s actions on the various communication channels (website, social networks, newsletters, etc.).

Reason for employment:
Reporting to the Head of Digital Content, you will be responsible for leading the institution’s communities with the aim of generating meaningful interactions with them. You will also have to design, produce and distribute digital content related to the objectives of the communication projects carried out by the Department.

This is a full-time permanent position (35 h/ week), with the possibility of teleworking in hybrid mode, following a voluntary departure.

The main responsibilities of the position are:

  • Animate and manage BAnQ communities on social media, aiming for engagement.
  • Tailor messages to different channels to maximize impact.
  • Produce meaningful, dynamic and engaging digital content (articles, photos, short videos).
  • Write messages or guide the writing of them in the spirit of best practices on digital channels and making sure to propose the appropriate institutional positioning.
  • Develop and manage BAnQ’s editorial calendar on social media.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of outreach plans related to specific projects in collaboration with project managers.
  • Play an advisory role with colleagues and internal partners regarding the digital communication approach and strategies to adopt as well as the preferred means of dissemination.
  • Collaborate with the various departments of BAnQ to develop content that will increase the influence of the institution.
  • Compile and analyze the results of the actions taken, issue recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor, moderate and respond to comments and questions from the public in our networks during working hours.
  • Carry out, upon request, any other activity related to his field of expertise.

Main requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing or related field.
  • Four years of relevant experience, particularly in community management.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media, content production and dissemination tools and related tactics.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships.
  • Great ability to collaborate with peers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of the French language, both orally and in writing.
  • Acute concern for customer service.
  • Good strategic sense.
  • Creativity, initiative and autonomy.
  • Great professional rigor and meticulousness in working methods.
  • Knowledge of the cultural environment, an asset

Remark :

  • The candidate may be subjected to a qualifying test to assess their writing skills.
