Quebec public health announced in its latest report that no deaths related to COVID-19 had occurred in the past seven days. However, a death that occurred earlier is added to the balance sheet.

Quebec has now recorded 16,674 deaths since the start of the pandemic. Due to a change in methodology, data for hospitalizations and intensive care will be released tomorrow.

In the health network, 3,235 health care workers are absent for reasons related to COVID-19. This is a decrease of 381 people.

Finally, 584 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded across the province, according to the latest report. This is a drop of 147 cases. Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.
